In March 11th – 19th, unique Elena Obraztsova International Vocal Mastery Workshop will be open in Moscow.
All studies will take place at the Moscow State Art Gallery of the People’s Artist of the USSR Alexander Shilov (Znamenka str., 5).

- Practical training session «Russian romance» of the People’s Artist of the USSR Larisa KURDYUMOVA
- Practical training session «Basics of singing for young singers» of the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Marina SHUTOVA

Changes and additions can be made to the program.
The secret of success of the professional vocalist is not only in a good voice, but also in an ability to behave on stage, to speak correctly and beautifully, to develop a good taste and charm. Participants of the Workshop will be given a chance to learn all the nuances of the vocal art, to improve their stage talent, and also to show what they can do, to share an experience with each other and to make the acquaintance of the professionals of the theatre mastery.
Everyone is welcome to participate, if your life and professional activity are related to opera and theatre.
The Workshop will be completed on March 19th, at 5 p.m., at the Alexander Shilov Art Gallery, with the Gala-concert of the participants and Presentation of Diplomas and Certificates, confirming methodological and practical work during Workshop’s activities.
Over a period of her life Elena Obraztsova gave master classes all over the world. Since 2005, Elena Obraztsova International Vocal Mastery Workshop has been carried out regularly in St.Petersburg and Moscow. Mission of this Workshop is to contribute to the improvement of the mastery of young singers, to the exchange of experience of the vocal coaches, singers, accompanists and theatrical workers.
During the lessons, the work on the pieces at the participant’s choice will be carried out under the leadership of vocal coaches. The participant of the master classes should also attend the lessons with another vocalists, as well as practical training sessions, open lessons, concerts and performances.
Number of the individual lessons should be fixed by the participant of the master classes himself and stated in the application form.
One individual lesson with a singing teacher costs Roubles 6.000.
If a participant takes one lesson from a singing teacher (vocal master class in the Workshop’s program), he should pay extra for attending the rest of the lectures and master classes as a trainee (either Roubles 5.000 for all the Workshop program, or Roubles 700 for a specific day of attendance).
If a participant takes two or more lessons from a singing teacher (vocal master class in the Workshop’s program), he has the right to attend the rest of the lectures and master classes as a trainee free of charge.
Services of an accompanist, which can be provided by the Foundation on the request of a participant, cost Roubles 800 per one lesson.
A trainee of the Workshop attends all the vocal lessons as well as practical training sessions, open lessons, concerts and performances.
Training cost for a trainee of the Workshop for the complete course — Roubles 5 000.
One-time attendance of the lectures and studies of the Workshop (1 day) – Roubles 700.
If a trainee wants to take part in a master class of a teacher (apart from a singing teacher), and services of an accompanist are required, a trainee should pay for these services as well.

Participants of the master classes and trainees of the Workshop will bear all the expenses related to their staying in Moscow.
The music material should be provided by the participants of the master classes in 3 copies – for the participants themselves, for a teacher and for an accompanist.
After completion of the Workshop, participants of the master classes and trainees will get diplomas/certificates, which confirm their methodological and practical work, attendance of the lectures and lessons in the course of the Elena Obraztsova International Vocal Mastery Workshop, in case of attendance of not less than 70% of the school hours.
The Workshop is given the same status as refresher courses.
